I'm thinking maybe around 1000 calories on the treadmill. I'm 6'4 230lbs. Have some lowerbody/gut fat that I want to get rid of.

it's overdoing it unless you want to be a twig and are training for a marathon

my mom runs marathons with some runners group and she gets together with her twig friends and they discuss twig related things, you could do the same.

Unless you're an elite marathoner/triathlete, yes.

Lift more, eat sufficient protein, watch what you eat. Rinse and repeat. At 230 pounds, 2000-2300 calories a day should be a sufficient deficit for you with lifting and some moderate cardio :wavey:

It will be hard to retain any muscle mass at that level of cardio.
