I don't know how I feel about this

He ususally plays the neurotic quirky funnyman in my head, a la kiss kiss bang bang

I imagined tony as more suave

    Could be cool though

I'm kinda conflicted on this choice. I don't think I've seen enough of his work to judge him.

Darn. I always thought that role would be perfect for Timothy Dalton.

I guess they wanted to go with a real life alcky instead.

He's not a bad choice. The guy can act. I guess that's a huge plus when comparing him to a nobody, which Favreau was hoping to get. At least he'll resemble the role he's cast for. I won't be ignoring this movie just because the guy I wanted wasn't cast. Now, if it was Cruise, then yeah, I could say "fuck it." But that's because he's not known for his acting ability.

Actually I think he may be a good choice for the part. He's a known actor, but isn't known for many big production movies. I think he can pull this off really well.

Perfect, we need a drunk/drug addict to play Stark.

I bet he wont be an alcoholic becuase it will send the wrong message. :)

As far as the storyline goes, I have faith in it. With Favreau directing the movie, it has a chance. I like his stuff on both sides of the camera.

hes one of like 10 directors lol......I doubt u'll see more than a few scenes done just by him :(

    gotta be alcohol involved.

Iron Man without alcohol is just :greddy:

I'm still kinda on the wall about the storyline.
