I should be on a 18 month tour rotating between Sadar, Mosul, and Baghdad I think.

Any advice on personal care etc items I should bring besides my issued items? Any help is appreciated :wavey:

Thanks for all the advice! Yeah long ass tour I know, bleh..

Training is going to be 45 days or 3 months @ Ft. Dicks with almost 14 months in country. Talk about getting the hard metal shaft from Uncle Sam, haha.

The troop surge is also put of the new longer terms, Also the DoD changed some rules/laws and I think the time for redeployment is 2 years and not 6 years like it was. Ah well, guess it'll be a good time to finish growing up, haha

whenever you get on land, buy some cheap antibacterial spray (like Lysol/aafes generic brand) and at night time, take out your insoles and spray the fuck out of your insoles and the inside of your boots, and let it sit over night to dry. Your feet wont stink as much.
