I spent about 20 minutes shooting it (easy part) then got home and spent 3 hours in ps elements 2 combining everything real nice and making up for my lens's shortcomings. None of that matters though, tell meh what you think!

    Looks dull :dunno:

Trees/grass aren't white enough, and the sky isn't dark enough to make it look like IR. Lacks contrast.

I love the first one, but not the others. It has a very good darkness to it that I think are lost in the revisions :o

This on is the best. I do have a soft spot for IR. There is a little more detail in the buildings. The grass in the field isn't blown out. Great shot overall.

It's good to take in other peoples opinions but don't let that sway your own too much, that's a fucking awesome photo :bigthumb:

:eek4: A really nice comment from someone on OT?!

:bigthumb: Thanks, I'm gonna get it printed 12"x30" and mat it. Does 120 sound excessive for that (selling)?

And I want one for myself :big grin:

I was actually thinking of asking you if it looked good blown up, that would be an awesome wall-hanger. I don't know anything about prices other than it'll be expensive as hell to print & frame :sad2:

Still. I feel as though the right side lacks depth and has very little variation in contrast. That's just what I'm gathering though.

I might be able to knock it under 120 for a fellow OTer, lemme see how much it actually costs to print.

I could do one like 20"x8" for 100?

I'm no pro, not even an amateur I guess, but I like it.

I've had a couple of my photographs printed at 26x14 at 7 dollars at a local print and reproduction shop.

Special. My shop's not that nice :(

And I spent 6-10 hours staring at a monitor and converting files and lining shit up to get this thing to look nice. It'd be stupid to just sell things at cost, plus I"m planning to mat it :)

I think it looks great. Especially since you lined everything up yourself and didn't use a specialized program to do it. You can't even tell it is separate photos.

i think its totally rad. the amount of content in the photo is really impressive, i like this tecnique. As others have stated I would bump your contrast up a bit but other then that keep on the track, this is good stuff.
