I would have a hard time holding off if it had decent storage space.

I find it's easier to have all my shit on one device. Since my 40gb 4th gen went haywire, I've been cramming all my shit on a 2gb nano. I have to sync the goddamn thing every other day because I keep wanting shit that isn't on there. :hs:

Wirelessly posted via wap.offtopic.com (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU like Mac OS X; en) AppleWebKit/420+ (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/3.0 Mobile/1C28 Safari/419.3)

Most 3rd party apps are still in testing phase for the iPhone but it looks like the touch uses the same exact os sans phone parts so it would be hacked pretty fast.

Apollo im is the only non web based messaging app out for the iPhone and I think its aim only for now.

Skype wouldn't work as there's no microphone on the iPod Touch. It'd take a hell of a lot of work to get the iPod mics made by some 3rd party vendors to work with them too.
