i've heard horror stories about updating and having lots of troubles with it. is it worth it to try to the update or should i just stick with the current version until a more suitable update comes out in the future? i didn't get apple care for the ipod so i'm a bit hesitant. thanks!

I had 2.0, and now 2.0.1 on my touch without any problems... not jailbroken...

Mudfish, do you find that the app store is worth the upgrade? Do you use lots of new apps now on your touch?

I am liking my software on the touch now and don't want to mess with a good thing, unless something else is better. I realize that an update is called an update because it makes it "better" but that is often not the case.

    Cheers
