ipod ripping software

    Anyone got any recommendations for software to rip stuff off my ipod?

    ahh, windows explorer (aka my computer)


    highlight the ipod and go to 'tools' > 'folder options'...
    then click the 'view' tab the select 'Show hidden files and folders'

    everything is totally unorganized that way

    i recommend using sharepod. it's a small program that you can keep on your ipod's hard/flash drive. helped me grab songs off of my ipod several times now

    Yes, everything is unorganized, but the ID3 tags are still there. If you drop them back into iTunes or a similar program, they will show up correctly by artist/song, etc.. It's just the file name that's not right.

    Winamp can copy files to the HDD from your iPod. ephPod also will copy the contents of your ipod to your HDD.
