whenever i leave the iPod on the dock and its done updating songs or whatnot, it keeps on saying "Do Not Disconnect" even whens its done, and the top left of the display is like rotating arrows.
anyone know what this means? thanks.

Is it set up to be used as a hard-drive? If so, you will need to "Safely Remove Hardware" in the taskbar. I think rotating arrows mean that it is transferring files, but I'm not positive on that one.

If you're still in iTunes, click the bottom right button when you're looking in the iPod, it says disconnect the iPod.

Just go into iTunes or (depending on your OS) the 'finder', and eject the ipod and than it will give you the all-clear signal for disconnection. :)
