I downloaded the latest iPod software and proceeded to install it. Opened up the Software Updater and clicked update. Then I waited. And waited. For over an hour. So, I decieded to just go into task manager and stop the update program and disconnected my iPod. Now my iPod doesn't respond at all. No matter what I do, nothing comes up on the screen. :wtc:

Hopefully you live near an apple store? Otherwise call them and they'll send you a box to ship it in.

if you connect it to the wall outlet charger and nothing happens, then i'd go to the apple store, if you've had your ipod under 12 months.

Well, I left it alone for about 2 hours, came back and it said it needed to be charged. Currently charging it and I'll hopefully be back in business later tonight. :x:

BTW, this is like the invincible iPod it seems. I've dropped it on concrete twice, on carpet/hard wood floors like 20 times and it's still going like it was when I got it in 2003. :o
