I would be really mad if they upgrade PowerBook just a week after I bought mine.
i bet you could call them and get an exchange. my friend bought one and they upgraded a week later and he got the upgraded one when he got the model in the mail cause he just called
Jan 25th and no PowerBook.
I have one of the first 15" alum PowerBooks (ordered the day they were released) and will keep it until G5's come out. I love it, no need to upgrade yet.
whatcha running on that mother?
so who thinks they will actually upgrade the powerbooks tuesday? i hope so then i will order my 12"
If you bought direct, you can call Apple to get a refund of the difference.
Well, it looks like even if they come up with an update, I won't be able to return mine. (It will be over two weeks and the store won't take it back.)
I guess I will just stick with mine and next time I buy a new computer in few years, I guess I will get Rev B or Rev C PowerBook G5. I wouldn't buy the first version of G5 PowerBook anyway. And I won't go too crazy about small speed bump. My laptop is still better than all of my friend's laptops.
