Im in the market to buy an iPod, but unfortunately I am still running on Windows 98. Although the system requirements need Windows 2k/ XP, does anyone know if I can still run an iPod through this computer, or do I need to buy a new PC to do so.

    Thanks

    Hey,

The iPod site says Windows 2000 with SP4 or Windows XP home or professional. Check www.ipodlounge.com if there might be a way around that.

the hangup is with the software it self not the ipod, so if you want the ipod, but want to keep 98 try a 3rd party ipod apps like ephpod.
