Negotiations were tough between Cingular and Apple when the ROKR came out, and the end result was a bullshit 100 song limit (regardless of how much memory the phone had). All these phone companies are trying to promote their own music stores. Providing an iPhone is basically promoting iTunes, which would be a conflict of interests. Maybe Apple will come out with their own mobile service, like Myspace's Helio?
