    iPhone = iFail + apple store =iRedemption

    Mine which I got in August 08 just came up with several dead pixels.

    I restored it to no avail

    I took it into the apple store.

    15 min later I walked out with new iPhone.

    apple customer service ftw.

    brand new smooth unblemished 3G ftmfw!

    uh, your post and your subject don't seem to make sense together. you make it sound like you had this major problem, but really had a minor issue that was resolved immediately.

    Wait, so your iPhone had dead pixels so you went and got a new one?

    I had to do that because the iPhone3G would stop charging. Forever. :(

    I'm on my second 3G, love this baby.

    Nah...the button just was not responding immediately. I'd had to hit it twice to make it go home. It worked but was annoying. I took it to Apple. They replaced instantly. Phone was only 3 days old.
