If you're trying to get your mac to recognize your iPhone in DFU mode, for chrissake don't use the script that rolls back the USB drivers.

Just connect your phone through a USB hub, and it will work without risking locking up your computer.

i know, right? considering the risks of rolling back USB drivers, when you can make it so your mouse/trackpad and keyboard no longer work.

i actually was successful using a Dell monitor i had at work that had a built-in USB hub :)

i actually did it and undid the rollback without any problems, but that's not the point....it has the potential to really screw up your computer. gizmodo did a big write-up on it.
