Which AIM Apps use the data plan rather than Text Messages?

I use BeeJive...it regularly costs $15, but I was able to nab it on black friday for $10. Price is steep, but the app is good...you can remain "signed on" when you exit out of the app, and it'll "push" the messages to your email address if you get any new IMs.

The AOL AIM app doesn't use text messages. In fact, I don't know of any instant messaging apps that use text messages.

Beejive app is what you should consider if your are JB'd

But if your not, aim is free and it does not use text. It uses data
