I found something called: Primedius Total Privacy & Security 4.76
Is this the only type of program that can mask your IP?

There are plenty of utilities out there that can help with IP masking. Whats the application?

Really? I still wonder how this can be accomplished since data still needs to be routed back. Only way I can see this happening is using strict source routing in the IP header but that limits connections to being 9 hops or fewer.

There might be programs out there that claim to do it, but how well they do is questionable.

As was stated there still has to be some info in the packet that directs it back. Without using a machine in the middle to do redirection there is no clean way of doing this.

Not to mention the fact that a lot of firewalls and hosts will drop source-routed packets automatically...

Well, that was BEFORE I installed the Primedius software. I'm just hoping this time it's going to work.
Oops! I forgot to say I got that message when I went through http://www.pureprivacy.com

\EDIT: I just got back in, registered and posted a message on the site I was banned with the Primedius Total Privacy & Security 4.76 software. I have to say that rocks! I mean, I had tried many things over the last couple of days and nothing else worked.

Most proxy servers only do html (port 80) traffic. Only a handfull will touch p2p apps. The free ones that will do p2p apps do not have the bandwidth to make them worth your while.

I did find a paid proxy service a few months ago, and it works great.

I did a search on proxy service, and did not check the date. Wanted to know if anyone else is a parnoid as me to use them.
