You know of any program for invoices where you can say.. you have a client who owes you $8,000.. They paid $2000 up front. And want to pay $400/mo till its paid off, possibly pay more each payment when they have the money to pay it off sooner. Know any program that can do that? Like setup invoices from a master invoice. And once an invoice is paid , the amount is subtracted from the master invoice.

I believe all the standard programs do that..Quickbooks, Peachtree, etc. Basically it works off an A/R balance.

Yea - That's what I thought. However, I purchased Money 2003 (Business Edition) and it didn't do it.

Shit.. you could write it in Microsoft EXCEL!

I did bookkeeping for 2 years.. and when I first started, they did EVERYTHING in Excel..invoices, purchase orders, sales reports, A/R reports, A/P reports, quarterly and annual reports.....:uh::ugh:

After about 3 months, I convinced them to get Quickbooks, and my job got SOOOOOOOOO much easier.
