I'm trying to work on invitations for my daughters 1st birthday. I planned on using iPhoto's design feature, but there aren't many mods you can make to them text wise.

Anyone ever make invitations before? What'd you use?

I think Pages has some. You can at least drop in images and tweak templates quite a bit.

I was going to have them printed professionally instead of printing them myself since it would cost the same price. But I might as well just print them myself...meh.

I think I'm just going to try to wing it in photoshop.

    I'd use Adobe InDesign CS3.

Photoshop should work fairly well, except its drawing features are very limited.

I really don't think I'm going to draw anything. Just a basic design. :dunno:

    Oh I see.

Photoshop should be more than enough. The text manipulation in PS is pretty versatile. Should be fine with that.
