For some reason this has come up on my PC:

    Note the Q drive.

It doesn't appear in Disk Management or Device Manager. I can't delete it. Can't access it. No idea how it got there. Reboot won't solve it.

Anyone know how I got it or how to remove it? I'm assuming through the registry?

I'm installing it now and I'll see if I have the same problem.

I bet it's something the Office 2010 beta uses as a fake source for a hardware ID number, whereas the public release will use your real hard drive's hardware ID number instead.

Yes... I installed it on two machines and this happened on both. I checked my USB drive for viruses and everything.

    Thanks.
