I don't care if stark erased his mind to pre-civil war, he's still an asshole and I want Cap to punch him in the face.

I would like to equate this to Gordon Bombay fraternizing with the enemy in D2 the Mighty Ducks and becoming too "Hollywood." And then this 'mini-retcon' being the hockey match between Bombay and Wolf "The Dentist" Stausson being his redemption.

Yeah, regardless of the erased memories, Cap really does need to belt Stark like in Ultimates where he asks Pym to step outside at the bar.

I'm actually with Piper on this one--why does Tony get to reset? And just edit all first hand experience of his biggest mistake? How much of a man can he be if he 'apologizes' by asking other heroes to pass judgment on him/ save his life and yet he won't remember what he did?? How can he ever learn from failures??

I was clearly angry when I read that.

But appreciated his shutting down Iron Patriot's armor.
