I injured my adductors 2 weeks into christopher's routine. It was working so well for me too. Taking a break is going to be tough. Working out is my therapy. Anyone else treating injuries?

I rolled my right ankle flat a few weeks ago fighting for a rebound in a pick up game. By far the worst I have every hurt my ankle. Xrays were taken at the hospital is was so bad. I was on crutches for a couple days, and wore an aircast for 9 days. By the tenth day, my ankle was feeling strong so I didn't wear my aircast. After getting my haircut that morning, I was walking on a flat sidewalk when my ankle rolled completely flat again after taking probably 150 steps. :ugh: Once again I couldn't stand up for a few minutes. It has been like 2 weeks since the second roll, and I'm still relying on the aircast. I have finally started playing bastetball again, but I'm nowhere close to healed. :hs:

Chondromalacia of the patella. Have to have surgery in a couple of weeks. I've already been doing physical therapy and still working out for the most part to keep my quad strong for after surgery. :(

I fucked a shoulder up back in january. I'm just now getting back to working out with some weight again, but only at 50% of the load i was working with. I'm probably more afraid of it than anything else.

I guess you could look at it that way, but I think a lot of us just like working out and don't know what to do without being able to go to the gym. I think you will see a lot of posts here where people are talking about an injury and how they can't work out and it upsets them. To be honest with you, this is one of the most enjoyable things I do. It is especially fun seeing the body transform in a good way. That alone makes you want to keep working at it. :)

I hurt my shoulder in the first hockey game of my season way back in October, doctor said it was a sprain and I took a month off. First game back, exact same thing/feeling. Went to a different doc, got an MRI, found I had a torn labrum. He said I'd have to get surgery either way, but I could try getting a brace and playing out the rest of the season, though there was bascially a 99% chance of hurting it more. Since I was gonna have to get surgery anyway, I played until it got fucked up again. I got surgery about 6 weeks ago and am now doing phys therapy.

I haven't been able to lift regularly since October. :wtc:

Now I can't do any kind kind of physical activity except stationary bike and elliptical with no arm movement

If i were you, I'd take a week off every 4-6 weeks or so to let the shoulder completley heal up, maybe do some general shoulder health in that week off or something.

My knees hate me for squatting twice a week, so i'm only squatting once a week. I guess that kinda counts?

Now you're just making shit up.
