Interval Training (cardio)

    Any one do intervals on a bike, or sprints?

    what kinda time frames do ya do it in??

    im currently doin , 1min max out, then 3 mins active rest..

    30 minutes total- nothing below 85 rpm or over 105 rpm on the bike...adjust levels to maintain hr as described.

    5 minute warm up (140-150bpm), 15min (185+bpm),2min active rest (170bpm), 8min (190+), 5-10 minute cool down (achieve below 140 gradually)
    I still max around 206 bpm

    This works best for me, but I respond better to higher hr's than most.

    1 to 2/3 is pretty common. at highest intensities 30sec to 3-4min is not uncommon.

    there are a lot of variants, changing it up to avoid adaptation is reccomended.
