I just completely reformatted my computer and installed a newer version of XP without all the vaio bullshit extra stuff. I have bellsouth dsl, and have installed McAfee, and was wondering what other programs you would reccomend. i used to have adaware and spyware blaster, but not sure if either helped.

I'm looking for free d/l stuff (poor ass college student) to kinda be an intraweb condom for the computer. keep viruses, spyware, adware and such at bay

oh yeah, i'm running Mozilla Firefox browser.

    thanks.

I know people will blast it, but I had great success with ZoneAlarm. I even had a server protected with it at one time and not one compromise. And it fits your budget.
