Are you guys more prone to purchase from a store which is "Hacker Safe Certified" than one which is not? Why or Why not?

They are trying to sell me on using their service for $1790/year and I want to know if it is worth it.

Yeah most people don't seem to care as long as the cert comes up as validated and active.

Okay, but my current security vendor (Security Metrics) doesn't brand my site with anything, so do you think it won't make a difference?

I think people feel a lot more "comfortable" with your site.

I never even look for those "certifications" as said above, if a store has good feedback from other customers thats what I base it on.

"hacker safe" to me is like saying, "hey we were hacked in the past, all our customers credit cards were stolen, but NOW we are hacker safe.... what up" haha j/k but seriously i dont look for it.

well if i end up at a store i dont normally buy from it's usually through a site like froogle.com and they have store ratings/reviews and stuff, so i judge by those. But most of the time i shop at stores i already know.

See if you can get a badge from Security Metrics to put on your site. People see those as a comfort item ("okay, cool. This site is going through efforts to protect me") but if your product or service is good/cheap enough, most people won't care.
