Internet Connection Sharing

  1. I can't get ICS to work on my Netgear Wireless USB Adaptor connection. It says

"An error has occured while Internet Connection Sharing was being enabled. Internet Connection Sharing cannot be enabled. A LAN connection is already configured with the IP address that is required for Automatic IP addressing."

Does anyone have a solution to this? I don't really understand what that means.

    I am assuming....

When you try to start ICS, your computer wants to assign itself an ip address of 192.168.0.1, and that is most likely the address of your router. So its pissed off. And why are you trying to enable ICS on that connection when you have a router?

  3. I share that incoming connection with a LAN ethernet cable that goes to my PS2 since the router is in another room.
