well for some reason i get either no signal or a great signal on my laptop. now the computer stays in the same place at all times. i dont know if this is a problem with my wireless router or airport. i have a g4 powerbook. is there an update i need or could it be something else?

so does the pc connect to the router?

i mean have you tried connecting other laptops to the router?

ask to borrow your friends laptop and see if it connects

    then go from there?

No problems, just the nature of wireless...ness. Changes in the atmosphere, a phone call on a cordless phone, a microwave, etc can decrease/increase your signal.

change the channel your router broadcasts at. could be a phone or something interfering.
