Take a wild guess which branch I am in, and if you need to cheat and look at my bookmarks toolbar you are a failure.

You are Army. This site is just so awesome. When the clock was getting close, only a few minutes away, I managed to remember ranks that I vaguely heard of before. It is the best teaching tool for memorizing rank structure. All of us so far have done pretty good. Congratulations to all. :)

i breezed through almost all the navy ranks, but there was a big gap in the middle. I'm like wtf, midshipmen? oh yeah, warrants. i met exactly 3 warrants in my 9 years. they're few and far between, i guess.

Yea, in the Army they are simply called PV-1 and PV-2 before they get to PFC. I'm not even in the Army, I'm Air Force. Why I know that I have no idea.

Awesome site. I got most of them. I completely forgot about Warrants and I didn't know most of the AirForce Enlisted.

LOL I think I got 75 or so before I gave up.

Nope. Private One and Private Two. I don't know why they do it this way.

The only real reason I know is because the book I use to study for E-5 has all the branches ranks listed (minus Warrant). Also, a lot of family is prior Army and I'm from an Army post.

AF E ranks are the easiest ranks to remember. E-1 through E-4 has "Airman" of some sort in the name, and E-5 through E-9 has "Sergeant" of some form in the name.

The Army actually stumped me with E1 ad E2 both being Private. Realized I had to type Private E2

    . (Private E-2?)

I had the rest minus the Navy. Their ranks pretty much tore me up.

I see that... but USCG/Navy will always be the easiest for me.
