I didn't see any mention of an attempt to stop the bleeding... you would think that would be the first thought in somebody's mind...not how sweet the jetta they are bleeding all over is. :hsugh:

That's the problem with teh VW Vortex, it's a bunch of F'in tools and wannabe racer kids in their pretty new VW's. I won't even go there anymore.
Sounds like the kid was a moron...someone's got a gun to your friend and you run at him.

Those people are all retards, including the dude making the claim of 82% blood loss. There is no way. I mean, I suppose if he was one of those undead dogs that they drained, froze, and refilled with blood and brought back to life, then 82% blood loss would be possible. But otherwise, it is not physically possible to sustain life with that low a red blood cell count, even if you could keep enough volume to sustain a blood pressure, which you wouldn't be able to do either.

Second, the way he described the wound, he was shot in the inguinal area. The pictures were bandwidth exceeded, so I can't say yea or nay on that. If it was in the inguinal area, though, a tourniquet would be hard to apply.

People still think these days that tourniquets cost limbs, automatically. Not true in the slightest. Surgeons use tourniquets in surgeries every day, and have for eleventy billion years. What costs limbs is IMPROPER tourniquet use, and a tourniquet on there for too long before definitive care.

People are stupid. Even if losing the leg were the case, if you're bleeding as much as this guido says he was, it's worth it. I hope he can't get a hard on anymore because I want him out of the gene pool.

So im confused, had he had a gun how would this help him? He said TWO people had guns. So, sure he could shoot one - but chances are as soon as that happened, the other person would have fired killing whoever he had the gun pointed at. I dont see having a gun in this situation would have helped him much...
