    interesting. I just started one of Arnolds routines which added so much volume to my workout. We shall see what happens.

    doing the one in the archives posted by trance, modified some of the exercises since my gym is not equipped for some of them. no gear for me thoug.

    we will see how long it lasts. hopefully 2 months or so, then i will find something else

    Yeah not to mention most PLers will put on a good deal of weight then manipulate water to stay in a weight class aaand do a lot of rep work as well.

    Plus muscle can only get so much stronger before its forced to get bigger. This post basically says HIGH REPS BIG, LOW REPS STRONG. Yay.

    it's certainly not new information that the rep ranges for max hypertrophy and max strength are not the same. And of course the biggest factor in whether or not size is added is diet, not training methods.

    I picked stronger rather than bigger.
    The last two months on the 5x5 i went from 185x5 bench to 215x5. Squat from 155x5 to 225x3. My arms are way way smaller ever since giving up my 11 billion chest exercise routine.

    I have been doing Aronlds Routine for about 4months now I'm still alive with out gear. My gains have been the best so far. It's time consuming but I'm getting stronger bigger and leaner. Still at 195-200lb;)

    So you can pull 405 on a dead but cant squat anywhere near it? how the fuck does that happen.
