    All from Sherdog.

I wasn't sure when Hughes-GSP II was going to be, I was worried it would be November but September is great.

He might win, but it will be close. I don't know why you say that he will steam roll him.

I think Franklin - Silva will be GREAT. And I think GSP is our next champ.

Franklin will not steam roll Silva. Although I'd love to see that, it just won't happen. Silva is too talented for that. It will most definitely be a good fight though.
Friends of mine had Franklin for a teacher. He invites a couple of them to his gym quite often. He's a cool guy. I've met him and his wife. I see his wife quite a bit here in Cincy actually.
I hear Matt Hammill (SP?) is training a bit with Franklin and some of his guys. Can anyone verify this?

St.Pierre is gonna beat Hughes, the rest of the UFC fights are paltry compared to Pride's upcoming events. UFC is turning into the seniors tour of MMA

:ugh: . ... . St. Pierre is an okay fighter, he's got awesome striking, but honestly he's no match for the power of Hughes.

Matt Hughes will crush him like he did in the first fight.

Yeah I have to argue that one as well. Did you see how quick St. Pierre tapped when Hughes put that arm bar on him? He was tapping before Hughes even tightened down on it. Once Hughes get's him in a submission he's done. He can't compare to Hughes' strength. Now if the fight stays on the feet (which it won't b/c Hughes is so strong and will take him down w/ no problem like he did in the first fight) then St. Pierre has a chance.

I got someone willing to place 2 bills on Silva, however Franklin is going to win, period. So much bigger and like it was said before, a true 205, atleast thats what he walks at

Yeah I'd almost be willing to take that bet although Anderson Silva is pretty tough. One good chin shot and it's over for Rich Franklin though. That's the only worry there. Well, I guess that can happen in just about any fight. I'd take it man.

<------ Now accepting bets for the Hughes/GSP match

GSP is going to prove it and I will put money to anyone on it.

Drag, I am disappointed that you say Silva would steamroll Franklin. As you know, I am also a big Franklin fan, but I do think he could easily lose. I would like to see Silva fight Swick first just to show his dominance over Leben wasn't a freak accident. If he tears up Swick or even Crow I would think that is a solid indicator of weather or not Franklin should sweat that fight.

I'd have to agree this is the most likely outcome.

A lot of people are saying they want this match, but in my opinion Anderson Silva's stand-up skills are superior to David's. And his ground game too.

But The Crow is an awesome dude, it would be great if he could beat The Spider
