In Israel if a cop sees an obvious suicide bomber pre-detonation, that bomber will get one in the head. For obvious reasons. Remember the dumb MIT freshman chick at Logan airport last week? Those of you who may have forgotten, she went up to a ticket agent, asked about an arrival flight (not in yet) then went outside to wait. Meanwhile she was wearing some kind of vest. A circuit board strapped to her chest. Wires all over. and she was holding some play-dough. The ticket agent called the cops and they arrested her and she was all "WTF did I do?" My question: 1) Would you as a CCW-holder be justified in popping that chick if you saw her? Think about it. There you are, minding your own business. Suddenly you see a suicide bomber enter a crowded building. I'd say that qualifies under "fear that your life or that of others is in imminent danger." 2) What sort of public/media reaction do you think there would have been if someone had done that? 3) Same as question 2, but if a cop had done it?
