Last time I was out shooting, I found some nickle plated 5.56 and .223 cases.
Most of them are LC 05, there's also a LC 02, and an FC.
all of them have crimped silver primers, and red primer sealant.

Any ideas on the source of this stuff?
My first thought is that it's from some remanufactured ammo, but if you're going to nickle plate brass, why do it to once fired stuff instead of new brass?

You can buy nickle plated 223 brass. It's good for ammo they might be stored for long periods or if your shooting in real wet humid places
