If only he'd written "I don't do/recommend squats or deadlifts" at the start instead of the end, so I could have stopped reading a lot sooner!

I know he doesn't explicitly say "Do not squat or deadlift", but he may as well by not including it in his clients workouts. We all know, or most know, that both squats and deadlifts are essential to a lifting program.

Plus I friggin love deadlifts, so to hear anyone speaking badly about them is a big no-no. :nono::mamoru:

He still front squats and single-leg squats them. And he has since changed his stance on deadlifts---but only with perfect technique, which is rare. Michael Boyle knows more about training than anyone on this forum.

I couldn't disagree with that, but I always have and always will be skeptical of those who don't support back-squats and conventional deadlifting... which I don't think is a bad thing!
