that is possibly the least technically informed article I've read in my life
"Think of the chip as the brain of the computer." thanks sherlock
"When you run Virtual PC on your Mac, it opens in a window that takes up about half your desktop. Then, when you open PC programs, they open in a window inside that window. You can maximize the programs so that they take up the entire Virtual PC window, but it will never be full screen, like the Mac programs run."
VPC has allowed fullscreen since what, version 2? 3? 4? what a noob
That article sucks ass.
article was stupid but you do get ePoints for having a hot AV
I'm getting sick of reading about "running Windows on Apple machines." If Apple continues using OF, then Windows isn't going to run! ... period. It would require changes to the Windows Hardware Abstraction Layer (HAL).
I doubt Microsoft will provide a new version of Windows for Mac...though that sure would stick a dagger in Apple's back. haha.
the funny thing is that making windows for Mac x86 would only help Mac sales... OS X because it's better, windoze when you need it (if ever)
moving to x86 is quite possibly the best thing Apple has ever done for itself -- if they implement it thoughtfully it could make the company absolutely take off
It hurts to say that cause I think teh PPC architecture is dope and underdeveloped / underutilized, but you gotta go with who can get your products out the door
i'm just here to look at his av k
I guess they are ditching OF
OF kicks a shitload of ass, and I'd really hate to see it go... but at the same time, if it's what apple needs to do to leverage the hardware advantage of running both Windows and OS X, then I'm really excited about that
@ turbo91's av btw
