Do you guys have your gear insured? If so where would you suggest I go? I added the 24-70 to my arsenal yesterday, so carrying that the d700, 70-200, 85 1.8 along with a few flashes I'd feel a lot more comfortable if I knew it was covered. Thanks OT

You should be able to ad a personal article floater to your homeowner's policy. I'm in the process of setting one up myself. $125 /yr for $8500 in gear. Covers everything with no deductible.

I'll speak with my father about that (he's the homeowner, I'm the college student :mamoru: ).

Girth: only photos I've taken since it's been raining in NY the past two days

Shot wide open, first one at 1600ISO, second at 3200 straight from camera. It's SO fuckin sharp. Once I shoot something worthwhile I'll post more.

And congrats on the 1.4. I'm not THAT ballin, I have the 1.8 but def. one of my favorite lenses.

    NO :nono:

its not a good idea to raise your homeowners policy over a camera claim. its happened way too many times and is nothing but a headache

I got valuable personal property insurance on mine. Just started a few days ago.

For $5K coverage comes out to $87(annual) and $0 deductible for me. This is with USAA (military)

Alright, I'll check out the ones you suggested. Carrying around 7K in gear into NYC everyday doesn't make me feel too safe
