Do you think I would get in trouble for dragging this up and down my street? or in a field by my house?

How often do most people increase in weight?

damn, the tires not a bad idea... although If you were on cement that shit would fall apart pretty quickly.

if you're getting a new one every month or two I'm sure it would just be better to buy a damned sled in the first place.

oh and I just went and weighed the engine block, it only weighs 145 lbs... although there are plenty of ways I could add plates on top or sandbags and shit like that.

to the gym? i dont see how dragging an engine around will give you a total body workout..but i didnt major in kinesiology either. maybe you could even shoulder press it or some shit...then do some leg extensions with it belted on your legs...then maybe tricep extensions...etc.

Sled dragging is good GPP and theres lots of movements you can do.

I mainly want to use it in the cases that I feel that I haven't accomplished quite enough at the gym or just want to call it quits and not even go. This would give me a way to at least put some work in or get motivated enough to go.

145lb is pretty heavy for a begining sled, i would say depoending on what your street is made of, and how much the sled fucks it up would be the deciding fgactors for pulling it. Tires are free most of the time at a tire store, u could just find a store that sells tractor tires, and earthmoving tires, and flip those.
Tire fliping is verry fun, i really wish i had a tire to flip...

i wish i had a couple tires ranging from 150 to 350 (maybe more. you dont really have to pick it up, just one corner) that i could flip all day.

    sleds are good for training.

used tires are free because there is a disposal fee and they would rather give it away than pay money to have it disposed.

Why does no one like sledgehammer work? :-|
