Hello everyone, I have a question for you. I just received a new Maxtor 120GB HD and want to install it on my computer. The thing is I want to keep EVERYTHING that is on my old hard drive onto this new one and keep the same settings. Like so of the programs I dont have discs for anymore, and some things like my comcast internet service were just a pain to setup and dont feel like going through the process again. I am running windows XP and want to know if anyone can tell me if there is a way to do this.

When you get a new drive there is almost always a utility disk included that will boot and take you through the process of completely duplicating your old drive.
You can also download the utilities from Maxtor's website. This makes it really easy to do.
