I want to install the Mac OS X x86 on my dell. Right now, I have one harddrive and its 40GB. To install the OS, would I need to buy another harddrive? If I do, would a 8GB drive be good enough? Also, how much space do I have to have free on my 40GB harddrive when I'm installing the OS on the other drive?

Well there is pretty much no legal way what so ever to do this..

That aside, if you don't want to loose your current install, you'd be better off pulling the drive and putting in a new one. It might be possible to dual boot, but I wouldn't count on it to work perfectly.
