I just recently installed an additional Harddrive. Seagate 750 GB along with my OS Harddrive a 150 GB raptor. It lists my Seagate as the primary while my raptor is the secondary drive. Will this affect my system in anyway (i.e. slowdown). So far I would not have noticed it if the seagate utility tool had not informed me.

    Thanks in advance.

what tells you that the Seagate is the primary? bios?

configure it properly or just switch the sata plugs.

software setups and installs usually look for the primary drive. it can be a problerm or rather annoying if you need to keep pointing to which drive it will use.

If it's booting up by itself to the Raptor, then don't worry about what the utility is telling you.
If you're having to hit f12 to get to the right drive each time, then yeah you should do the bios change.
