for the 2k box we are really picky on what patches we use due to a lot of the legacy software we have on it.

& since when do we need to restart to patch a linux box unless it's at kernel level?

My work machine has been up since yesterday @ 930am because we had the power company doing work in our office and needed to shut the power down to the whole building.

    XP Pro currently up for
    4 Days, 7 Hours, 14 Minutes, 4 Seconds

no idea what the longest time is, but I know it's a lot longer than that.

    iBook
    Currently: 9 Days, 12 Hours, 41 Minutes
    Longest: 18 Days, 16 Hours, 58 Minutes

On the Mac I use a Konfabulator widget to show current and longest, but the same widget doesn't work on the Windows version.
