I wanna install OSX on my main HD, by cretaing a 30Gb partition for it, and then installing the OS there. What files do I have to get, and how do I go about doing this?

    Is your hardware OSX compatible?

If your PC isn't 100% compatible I think there's other ways of doing it through third party hacks which we wouldn't be able to discuss here.

I know a couple people who have done it. From what I hear, it's a lot of hassle for very little payoff.

Except the Mac OS X license agreement that you agree to before installing it says you can only install it on Apple hardware.

It's probably better in the long run to just buy a Mac and install XP on it.

I've found it better not to use either, myself :hsugh:

But, yes, if you really want to run both XP and OSX, I think a Mac with bootcamp is the way to go.
