Inspiron E1705 GPU Fan

    I have this laptop, but the fan on the right side isn't running at all. I'm getting GPU temps of about 60 C. I think this has an ATI Radeon X1400 in it. The entire left side of the keyboard is cool, but the right side is "warm".

    I haven't cleaned out the dust since I bought the laptop, but I wasn't sure whether anyone else had experienced this problem. It's only been about 14 months. I keep the laptop propped up about at a 2 inch slope in the rear in order to allow it to breath.

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

    I found what I was looking for. For anyone who needs to replace the fans or to clean the fans of their Dell Inspiron E1705 or 9400, go to this link below:

    This shows you how to also remove the video card if you wish to replace it.

    Where can I get the screw drivers, electro-static discharge protective gloves, armbands, and the compressed air? Also, where can I get the secondary fan?
