Inside my amp (v. PC6600.2, obviously pics)

    Took these for a 'post the inside of your amp' thead over at cardomain. For scale, it's a hair under 2 feet long.

    Amp is well out of warranty anyway so I figured I may as well.

    The amp is rated at 50W x 6 channels, 4 ohm, full bandwidth at 12V. Into the 3-3.5 ohm load my components (Boston Pro 6.5) show it I multimeter-test around 90, quite a bit more in bursts. A bridged pair throws down around 350 to a pair of Boston Pro 12.5's (into 1.75-2 ohm), all with conservative gains. I may bridge the other two down to give more power to the components but it's already damn loud. Good 'ole American-built, inefficient muscle :)

    Damn it sounds good :drool:

    I had a chance to score 4 ch & 2 ch art series amps last week for $100... guy didnt know what he had... :( Should have snatched them.
