I dont agree with some of that, the Grandsport offers a boost over C6 performance in an affordable package. 50k for the corvette isnt really bad at all, if they want the LS3 for 30k they will buy a Camaro.
but the NAV works really well
than again im not really sure why the Vette should be 50k, considering it offers less technology, and alot more shoddyness than the Camaro, with the same engine/drivetrain
Whoever wrote that is a tool.
bet that writer has never driven one
they drive AWESOME
They gave this guy a job with a reputable publication? This is just more of the same nonsense, much of which is subjective, that has been said by people who simply do not understand the purpose of the vehicle. The Corvette is one model GM does not have a problem selling.
neither is the new camaro
actually GM do it best when its badged as Chevrolet and a performance car.
the article is wrong
the real price of a vette is reflected in it's resale value, which makes it easily attainable.
i think hes about 90% right. maybe 95
why is a base c6 worth 50k?
what about its construction makes it worth that much?
those two statements ring very true for me.
IB a gazilion pages
e90's run 12's anyway
Pretty weak article. Probably why it's so short.
And cost ~80k with decent options.
How can he, in one breath, say the Vette is overpriced at 50k while the E92 M he praises is another half as much?
im not really sure what he wants chevrolet to do?
if they price down the vette it will step on the camaros toes
i can really see the next vette having a significantly better interior.
just read it
Sounds like someone was hired to write a filler article
I used to sell performance rotors for the C6's. I was really surprised to learn that GM took the cheap way out with their rotors.
The rotors are supposed to be curved vane, so each side the vane is curved in a different direction in respect to their mounting. Instead of make two rotors with the appropriate curved vane, GM cheaped out and made one vane style to be used for both sides.
So basically, the C6 has two left hand rotors instead of one right and one left which means the passenger side has the vaning in the wrong direction causing piss poor cooling efficiency,
good job GM.
This guy is a fucking moron toolbag cocksucker.
I honestly hope nobody paid him to write that heap of unsubstantiated piece of trash "journalism".
"LOL I'm going to state my opinion as fact!!!"
The C6 honestly isn't bad on the inside. The C5 was fucking miserable, however.
gm? cheap way out? no way!
