Any differences in the two? aside from price of the latter being quite higher and it being only avaliable in 316L SS.

those are also called Talons.. its basically a taper you can wear, if you just want it to stretch a piercing, its kinda pointless to get.. well unless you wear it also

im not sure if this apply's , but i when i was 10->8 i had trouble so i purchases a taper. first i got the streight one... it DID NOT work.... im suprised i didnt blow out my hole or somthing, it was THAT hard with that one... so i let my ear relax for a couple weeks after getting all "hot and bothered" (literally) ..then i got the curled blue one, and it went right in... the point is.. i think the curve helped it somehow :dunno:

heres some tips if youre gonna stretch on your own... do it after a HOT shower, the hot water helps loosen and relax tissue, use LOTS of lube, the more the merrier, KY works awesomely, and go slow, if you need to back out, do it, no good ripping tissue

read the FAQs at http://www.biglobemafia.com for other tips and advice

The first stretch i did was using a talon, kept wearing it for an earring for the duration of my 6 weeks. God, what an annoying little fucker it was! Always caught in the bedpillows, comforters, sweaters...It sure looks great, but I'd never do it again. lol

  12. I used a talon to stretch from 10 to 8. I went from 12 to 10 without having to use anything, the earrings just slid right in no problem. I wore the talon for a day and then used a little astroglide to put in my 8 gauge plugs.

well sure, the enl. crescent does, since they look almost like a 75% complete circle. but most talon's i've seen look about 25% of a circle if that.

a couple of enl. crescent and a fucking Von Dutch hat and i can go party with the cocaine crowd in uptown dallas! :big grin:
