injury

    I was doing barbell curls on thursday, second day back to the gym after two years or so. I think I started off with too much weight because when I woke up on friday my arms were completely stiff, I could not straighten them out and my inner elbows/biceps are killing me. It has not gotten better in the last 4 days and I'm starting to wonder if I should go to the doctor.

    advice?

    If it's the muscle hurting I wouldn't worry about it. You probably over trained it and caused some stiffness in the tendon as well.

    I would just take some IBuprofen for the pain and for inflammation and maybe ice it a little bit here and there. It should feel better soon.

    give it acouple of days... its just D.O.M.S ... next time really take it easier, and make sure you do a thorough warm up...
