Injury recovery...

    All the time on ESPN I hear of athletes saying they took steroids to recover from an injury faster.

    Is this a valid method to get a boost back into training after coming off shoulder surgery?

    there usually talking a muscle injury, like pulled hammy, or torn bicept or pec, for a joint surgury, i see maybe a lil boost healing from aas, but i better suited substance being gh in my limited knowledge, maybe one of the guru's can shine more light.

    I dont think they meen shooting illegal products also, 'steroid' in terms of medication is a very broad term

    Pretty much every injured athlete is going to be taking cortisone shots legally.

    The article proves that it isn't something you'd talk about on ESPN if they were using banned "steroids"

    But he did talk about it, he said he used steroids to get over an injury and got suspended for it

    Yes so in the context of the original post, do you think lots of athletes would be talking about it?
