it feels like alot of fighters are getting injured lately and it's mostly the events that make the card. Pick any card from the past 20 mma events and you can probably notice 1 or 2 guys that pulled out due to injuries. Is it just me or is that a very high percentage?

This post is due to Fisher pulling out against Aurelio

  2. Have you seen the training those guys do? It's a shock any of them make it to the fight.

Not to mention it seems to hurt your career much more to take a fight at 80% and lose, than to drop out and come back later at 100%.

that's true, it seems like UFC and other organizations actually support the fighter 100% if/when he decides to pull out due to injury which is awesome

However, shouldn't the fighter be responsible to ease his training in the weeks leading up to the fight? I mean they loose money when they don't fight

You'd be surprised how easily it is to be injured even while rolling lightly.

when your a top level fighter your gonna get injured at some point because of how hard you train and you are going to constantly be nursing some injury
