I did something to my right arm yesterday while doing incline BB. I was coming down for the rep and on the way back up I felt something pull or pop or what have you.

I was able to maintain the weight and rerack it. It seemed to have traveled from my shoulder to my arm. (see diagram). I'm not sure what I did to it but it really hurts. I know this pain, it wasn't as bad before, just very veyr minor on some lifts but will go away. This time around I think I hurt it bad.

any suggestions on what I may have done? The Red X is where the pain is

The numbness makes me think you impinged your shoulder. There's not much wiggle room inside the joint once you get pretty big; it's easy to pinch something.

Did the "pop" come from your arm, or your shoulder?

The only time something similar happened to me, it vanished in a couple days as suddenly as it arose. Good luck!

thanks man...the "pop" came from the point where it hurts, but felt like it came from my shoulder

    1. dont lift until pain goes away + a couple days with no pain, then stretch lots
    2. ice, ice, aleve, more ice
    3. theragesic works pretty good if you can get some
    4. dont ask an internet board about injuries, they definitely need to be diagnosed with someone there, who can feel, touch, etc. im just giving you standard
