Injured my back :(

    I guess I deadlifted more than I should for the first time in a while and now my back is hurting like someone is cutting into it with a knife :wtc:

    welcome to the club, i just got back into the gym after 1.5 months off due to a lower back injury, was out of work for a week in bed, just got off the meds as well. Start doing stretches morning and night.

    Not that bad, it just feels like muscle damage only. I think I just pulled a muscle, I have no clue how I did that though... I could've lifted 245lb and I was only doing 205 :hs:

    I think I need to stay at 135 to 185lb until my stabilizers and technique improve.

    Should I be lifting though? Yesterday I did good mornings with 50lb and 60lb bar and I was able to do it. I figured out it wasn't sore and it was injured when, I was doing pullups and felt a sharp stabbing pain :hs:
